1, We can accept day entries for this race.
2, Schedule will here shortly.
3, The website will shut down on Thursday afternoon as the data is transferred to the race laptops, any changes after that should be texted to 07867 525725. Please do not phone as I do work as well and have a bad memory.
Races are released 2 at a time, so there are 3 release dates,
2nd release date will be on the 3rd May 2010 at 8.00pm (Rider/Marshal pre-entry 26th April 2010 at 8.00pm)

3rd release date will be on the 1st July 2010 at 8.00pm (Rider/Marshal pre-entry 23rd June 2010 at 8.00pm)

SDA RACE DATES 2010
Round 1: 24 – 25 April - Pitfichie - Entry Fee £35
Round 2: 15 – 16 May - Glencoe - Entry Fee £45
Round 3: 12 – 13 June - Innerleithen - Entry Fee £60
Champs: 10 – 11 July - Dunkeld - Entry Fee £60
Round 4: 14 – 15 August – Ae - Entry Fee £60
Round 5: 11 – 12 September – Fort William - Entry Fee £60
Successful ticket holders then have 7 days to enter the race(s), if the ticket is not used in 7 days, the unused ticket will be deleted and a rider from the reserve list will be promoted. Deletion of tickets is a one button delete, and cannot be reversed, so no exceptions, sorry.
Please note, entry to SDA races is a 2 stage process, you login in at the above times to obtain entry tickets, then 24 hours later, successful ticket holders can login to enter the races. We stagger this process to solve server overload, stage 1 is a simple request for a small text ticket number string, stage 2 is far more database intensive, hence spreading this out over 7 days.
This is all done by simply logging in to your rider file, we have automated a lot of this so the software handles your ticket and entry process, including putting you in the right category based on your date of birth, with an option for Expert and Elite if applicable. Ticket requests are only shown on or after the launch dates above, the ticket request entry lines will show on your login page, if you login before 8.00pm you may need to refresh your page as the clock hits 8.00pm, this should happen automatically, but may not according to YOUR browser setup (please do not press F5 [refresh] more than once, you will just create server issues). When you are ready to enter the races with your ticket, please note the blue boxes when you login, these will ask you to create a new season competitor category, unless you have already done so or it will have a link to enter races, only riders with valid tickets can proceed.
Reserve tickets are handled by Admin, if you have a reserve ticket there is nothing you need to do, you cannot pay for a race as technically you are just a reserve. Reserves are promoted to the race as cancellations are processed by Admin, so as soon as a rider is cancelled, the next reserve in the list will be promoted and sent an automatic email advising of the promotion. You can view progress of reserves from the Season Summary page, click the 'view' link and reserves are at the bottom of the page. |
