Cancelling an Entry

Cancellations will only be accepted through the cancel@sda-races.com email, if a cancellation email is not received then you will not be entitled to a refund. With the amount of riders these days, it is impossible to keep a note of bits of paper, texts, phone calls, word of mouth etc. so this is now the only official channel for cancellations and refunds (if applicable).

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN ENTRY TO A RACE EITHER ENTERED OR RESERVE, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT. DO NOT THINK THE 7 DAY RULE IS ENOUGH, IT SIMPLY MAKES LIFE MUCH EASIER IF YOU DROP A WEE EMAIL TO SAY YOU WON'T BE THERE. ADMIN IS VERY TIME CONSUMING SO THIS WOULD HELP A LOT, THANKS.

You can cancel your entry for a full refund (less £5 admin charge) if you cancel before the 'Entries Close' date. The only exception is if the event has a Reserve List running, you can cancel up to the Wednesday 18:00hrs, before the race, if someone replaces you from the Reserve List, you will receive a refund. Cancellations after Wednesday 18:00hrs cannot be refunded, sorry!

If you cannot make the race, it is only polite to advise that you will not be racing.

To cancel and entry;
1, Please email cancel@sda-races.com.
2, Log into your rider file from the home page, click on 'enter races', click on the radio button 'not entered' of the race you wish to cancel, then click 'update races'. This will remove you from the race.
(Please Note: This does not work if the Race is full, as the system automatically removes the radio button and changes the 'Entered' column to 'Yes', so you will need to cancel via the Email above.)

Please note: There will be a £5 Admin Charge on refunds, we are charged by WorldPay for processing your payment and are charged again for processing the refund, as well as charged for cashing cheques and charged for writing them.
